Traditional Chinese Medicine and other Asian Cultures have many aspects to the forms and therapies used for healing. Acupuncture is only one of the aspects, others include lifestyle counseling, nutrition and food therapies, herbology, aromatherapy, exercise, massage, mediation, medical qigong therapy and qigong movement forms.

Acupuncture is a healing system, which originated thousands of years ago and is based on maintaining the balance in nature. We are all mirrors of our environment and must maintain a balance of nature, both inside and outside of our bodies. This balance is known as Yin and Yang and is present in all things.

In our bodies there are energy pathways very similar to electrical circuitry. Along these pathways, or meridians, are switches or points, which help maintain the flow of energy within our bodies. When there is a disruption in our energy flow or a blockage we would perceive this as pain and disease. By using acupuncture needles at those points, we are able to conduct the flow of energy to stabilize the body back to harmony.

Acupuncture needles are very fine filaments resembling a thin wire that are pre-sterilized and disposable. Each needle is used only once and discarded through medical waste system. The treatments are very safe and comfortable.

Acupuncture will treat well over 200 disorders and is a wonderful preventative healing system. Acupuncture can also strengthen the immune system and enhance a feeling of peace and well-being.

Ashi Therapy

This treatment is designed to balance and enhance energetic flow within the body. Excellent for pain relief, disease, stress and general disharmony.
Acupuncture or Acupressure is utilized in this treatment.

Qigong introduction and instructional lesson

Qigong is the basic premise of Chinese Medicine. It is the movement of energy throughout the universe and our physical and energetic bodies. When this flow is blocked and disrupted in our bodies it can lead to pain and disease. By practicing Qigong the energy flow is enhanced and blockages are removed for increased vitality of mind, body and spirit. The beginning level training is called Dynamic Qigong, this ancient form originated from Tibetan Monks and has been handed down for thousands of years from teacher to student.

Allow 4 hours for level one package: $375.00

Additional Qigong training can be scheduled according to your needs.
All other therapies and Qigong Training are available by pre-paid appointment.

Auricular Therapy: A system of healing the body through treatment of micro acupuncture points located on the ear, with or without needles.   $75 initial visit $50. per session afterwards.
(Auricular therapy may be a part of your acupuncture treatments if applicable).

Chinese Facial Rejuvenation: An anti-aging facial is based on Chinese Medicine using acupuncture and acupressure massage techniques with ancient Chinese herbal pearl cream to reduce the signs of aging. Natural face-lift treatment is a holistic and natural way to uplift your smile and spirit. $75. (a series of facials is recommended for optimum effects). Lifestyle Consultation: Extended consultation evaluation to assist the patient in establishing lifestyle changes with anti-aging, weight management, detoxification, health and longevity with herbal and juice formulas, healthy eating, natural cleansing, mediation and breathing. $75.

Moxibustion: An ancient method of using heated mugwart herb on acupuncture points to disperse pain and blockages and bring warmth to cold syndromes. Moxibustion if applicable is usually included with an acupuncture treatment.   If Scheduled as a separate appointment: $99 initial visit w/consultation evaluation.
$60. per session afterwards.

Qigong Therapy: Energetic healing therapy that works with body's meridian pathways, energy fields and chakra centers to remove blockages and allow the body to balance and heal itself. Qigong is an ancient and sacred form of healing that is passed on from Qigong masters to students. $50. 20-25 minute session.
Qigong therapy can also be added to acupuncture treatments.

Qigong classes and workshops are also available for private instruction and for groups.

Reiki: Japanese for "universal life force". Tibetan Buddhist form of hands on healing therapy using energy that is present throughout the universe for well-being. $50. per session 30-45minutes.

Tibetan Sacred Healing Chants: Learn the Tibetan Buddhist Monks ancient healing chants and microcosmic orbit. When mastering the microbosmic orbit technique, it will assist in removal of energy blockages from the body's meridian pathways and will enhance the free flow of the vital life force energy 'Qi'. The healing chants when practiced on a daily basis will rejuvenate the body, mind, spirit, bringing the body back into harmony promoting health and longevity. $100.00 one hour session
